Madeline, it was late last night when I looked at the Nesloney board did a quick search in my data & replied...

From looking at this post -- oh, myyyy -- your grandmother Louise & my grandfather Remi were siblings!!!

I was adopted & started looking for my birth ancestry around '95. I had very little info with which to start.... Found out quite a bit about my family who lived in Gonzales county via the Gonzales County History book & finally made contact with (my cousin) Ann Brochet Wilkinson.

Would love to hear more from you! Very interested in any stories & info you have about our family.... Will get a quick report done of what I have so far & send you an email.

Max, if I have everything plugged in right, my great-grandmother Monica Herschap is your 2nd great-grandaunt.

I would love to have a copy of the Herschap family memories you mentioned.

That's right, it's me, "girlfriend". How are you? I actually tried to leave you a message on Classmates.com. Don't know if it ever went through. Email me at mdherschap@cs.com or contact on Facebook. I often end up as Max Herschap instead of Doug, ...they always use your first name.

I am a descendent of Levin and Sylvia DeBrooks Herschap, through Emil (Crismiel?) Herschap, John August Herschap, Dorothy Louise Herschap Larson, then me.

I know this posting was a long time ago, but I have just started working on the Rokohl and Herschap trees.

Thanks, Jeri Larson Coker

I am working on a family tree for the Emil & Emma Herschap line, I have all the details for that line, down to the youngest member. I have also traced back to find all of Emil's siblings and their spouses, however have not added in their children. I am working also on what we have of a "Family Story" as told by one of Emil's daughter in laws, from her recollection.
I am very curious to get your sides to include in the family tree.
