Another Cutbush looking for links.
Hi there to anyone reading this! My name is Andrew John Cutbush, son of Norman John Cutbush, grandson to John Cutbush (b1915), great grandson to Ernest Cutbush (b1880). I live in Hanworth London after having spent 12 years living in Sydney after emigrating with my Dad from Derby (UK). He lives in Mornington, Victoria, Australia now. Only other surviving Cutbushes from this branch of the family are Eric Cutbush my Uncle (g-fathers Brother) and Muriel (now Hines) my Aunt (dads sis). I never knew much about other Cutbushes apart from a Cutbush who used to play for Fulham FC, a Thomas Cutbush who was a suspect for Jack the Rippers crimes at on stage and a Cutbush that my Dad bumped into in Cranbourne Victoria in Aus. Would be very happy to help with any queries or hear of any further ties in what appears to be a huge extended family judging by the messages I have read already. regards AC

Hi Andrew
I saw your post on Ancestry.co.uk, and I know it is a very old post, but if you are still interested in tracking down Cutbushes, please let me know.

Re: Another Cutbush looking for links.
Hello Andrew, Your message is old so am wondering if it is still 'active' ? I have a possible link via a Jessie Hennessy (O'Hennessy)(Hennessey) who married in 1915, an Ernest Cutbush in Camberwell, London. Do you have the name &/or details of who Ernest married ?
Happy hunting Clive O'Hennessy [Scotland]

Re: Another Cutbush looking for links.
Hello Jane,
I have a 'weak' link maybe to Cutbush. One of my ancestors Jessie Hennessey married in 1915, at Camberwell in London, an Ernest Cutbush. I am wondering if you have any link, as my family were very reticent in speaking of their roots. Hence I have VERY little in history or photographs. Jessie was one of 13 siblings and I am tracing my history by going down these distant branches.
Best Regards Clive O'Hennessy

Re: Another Cutbush looking for links.
Hi, I am also looking for Cutbush links. I can trace back to a Charles Michael Cutbush, who married Mary Ann Letitia Ball in 1835 in Tower Hamlets, bethnal Green. Do you know where this line may fit in to all the many cutbushes mentioned. Charles was in the Met. from 1838-1848 and died in 1859 0r 1860. Any clues?

Re: Another Cutbush looking for links.
Hello, Andrew! A rather late reply to your post, but it caught my eye and any lead is a good one! My nana's name was Elvey Cutbush, and she was born in the East End of London in 1924. She had 7 sisters and 8 brothers, and one sister was named Muriel. Some of the other names I know of are Roderick, Jim, and Tootie (who went by Toots). My nana also named one of her sons Norman (my uncle), and I thought that might be a family connection. I have very little info to begin with, as you can see, but I hope that we can help each other.
Cheers,
Chantal

Re: Another Cutbush looking for links.
I have been trying to trace Norman Cutbush, who used to live at 16 Ruskin Road in Belvedere, Kent in the sixties, he was a member of the Red Cross, a cadet, we have a mutual friend, Tony Maun, and I wonder if your Dad is our friend. Ask him if he remembers washing his car outside Tony's house in Lessness Park!! We lost touch when he moved to Derby, and then we heard that he had moved to Australia; if your Dad is our friend it would be nice to have some sort of reunion, if only by email or Skype. My name is Pauline Brody (Jennings). Look forward to hearing from you with some good news.

Re: Another Cutbush looking for links.
Hi. I know it is a long time since 2003 when you posted the details of the Cutbush clan, but I think I may know your dad (from Red Cross days in Belvedere, Kent,) Norman Cutbush who emigrated to Australia from Derby. If you still live in the UK please get in touch by email. I look forward to your reply. from Pauline Brody (nee Jennings).
