I am trying to trace GGGF listed on 1850 Census in Nashville, TN as Aliol Cushman b 1826 Ohio, working in Nashville as a cigar maker. Married Elizabeth Bryant of Virginia with son William A. Cushman b 1849 in TN. I find his death in Christian County, KY in 1856 listed as Abel Cashman b abt 1827 Ohio, cigar maker, of consumption. Death record lists Wm H. Cashman as father. Elizabeth Bryant Cushman and son William A. Cushman appear on 1860 census in Christian County, KY. Anyone with info on possible origins and correct name of "Aliol" or "Abel" Cushman please respond.
