Hi Janice, it's taken me awhile to piece together what little I have on T D Cusenbary. He married 1st Florence C. McKinney on 18 Dec 1895. In 1907 he is listed in the Kansas City MO directory as living with his mother, so Frances may have died prior to that (there could have been a divorce, however, he's listed as a widower in 1910). I haven't tried to track that down, nor do I know who her parents were.
I didn't know Rhoda's last name until your post. I'd love to know what else you may have on her family. In 1914 & 1915 T D is listed as a driver for the Silver Laundry Co. in Kansas City. On the 1920 census you probably noted that Rhoda was the one who was employed, and TD is ill and unable to work.
In 1926 Rhoda purchased land in Douglas County CO. There is an unknown child buried on that property, unnamed "grandson" of T. D. & Rhoda Cusenbary, Sec. 14 Twp 7S Range 69W 6th PM. I have no record of any children for T D so it's interesting that a grandson is mentioned. Do you have any children for them? On the land grant, it reads in part "...the claim of Rhoda E. Cusenbary, widow of Theodore D. Cusenbary, has been established and duly consummated...".
That's about all I have on them other than what you've already stated.
