I am from the Curtin family of Jersey City. My ggrandmother was Margaret Curtin who did marry Daniel O'Keefe in Jersey City. Very limited knowledge of Curtin family. I "learned" most from this message board and from Margaret from the other side of the world! My desire is to learn more about the Curtin family history and Jersey City history. My mother (Lester maiden name) was born in Jersey City, but the family moved out and headed to Monmouth County, New Jersey. But we never went to Jersey City. So it is all new for me. My father did say that Margaret Curtin had gone blind from diabetes.

I did go to the Jersey City Library for the 1st time and plan to return for family research.
