Hi, Judy.
I don't know if we have corresponded before or not. My GGrandmother was Frances Curbow, daughter of Solomon B. Curbow. Your John was his oldest brother.
I do not have a name for John's wife, but do have all the sons you list, and then some.
I have:
Robert Curbo/Cerbow/Curbow, born abt. 1805
James L. Curbow, born abt. 1809 in GA married Mary Elizabeth Nichols
Nathaniel Curbow, born abt. 1812. Married Lucinda Story
John Curbow/Cerbow, born abt. 1814
Rebecca Curbow, born abt. 1815 in GA. Married Allen Hilburn.
Wiseman Curbow, born abt. 1817 in GA died abt. 1881 in Bowie Co. TX. Married Emeline Parker.
Malinda Curbow, born abt 1820. Married James Fitch.
Tilmon Cerbow/Kurbow, born abt 1828
Celia Curbo, born abt 1830. Married James T. White.
The Curbow researcher I got this information from had found different spellings for the last names of the same individual.
And that is about all the information I can supply.
Your question kind of spooked my interest. My GGrandfather, parents, sister and husband all left the McLennan Co/Bosque Co. TX area for Missouri about 1866. He married Frances, a widow, in 1874 in Stone County, MO. We don't know how they met. Could he have known some Curbow cousins in Texas and learned of her? Interesting!
Best regards,
Paul
