Joan Ann was born in Chicago, Illinois. The older siblings were reportedly born in Lousiana and Missouri. Other family members are The family name of Cuqro was changed to Curo in the 1940 time-frame at about the time they moved to San Diego (briefly) then settled in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately, the only other information I have about my grandmother, Louise Josephine Granier, was that her parents owned a cannery in the French Algiers.
I know that Ernest Cuqro was in the military (probably served in WW1). I have no information on any of Ernest's family history.
If any of these names show up in any of your family trees please let me know.
