Surnames: Cuono
Hello, all:

I've been researching my own Cuono lineage for many years and am eager to exchange and share information with anyone with any connection to this rare surname. My branch lived in Salerno - particularly in Agnone Cilento and Ortodonico - and then settled in the United States, particularly in the Paterson, New Jersey area.

Please e-mail me any time if you'd like to speak further - happy to share anything I have; I've collected information on a number of Cuono lines over the years, hoping to eventually connect all of the different lines, given how rare the Cuono surname is.

Best,

Hello, I also researching genealogy and found link between Cuono family and my (Meola). Adeline Cuono married Angelo Meola (Birth 23 FEB 1882 in Ortodonico Cilento, Italy -Death JUL 1953 in new jersey). My father and his brothers moved from Santa Maria de Castellabate (Salerno) for Paterson in 1901.Sei that there are other members of the family Meola researching on Cuono, then there is a family link. Sorry if his words are wrong, I am Brazilian and I do not speak English.

Adeline was my grandfather's aunt. I have a great amount of information on this family and would love to speak further with you - as far as I know, Angelo was the son of Giovanni Meola and Francesca Funicello - and he had at least one brother, Tommaso. I will write you and we can speak further.
