Trying to trace my great, great grandfather's mother and father. My GGGrandfather was called Francis Henry Cummings B1842 in Carlisle. His mother was called Eliza B1811 in Ireland D1877 in Chorlton, Manchester. I cannot find any record of his father's name in the census', nor can I find a birth or death record for my GGGrandfather, he married Sarah Maloy in 1867 in Carlisle, she was B1845 in Carlisle and D1905 in Chorlton, Manchester. I do not know if Eliza was married or not or how to trace her roots in Ireland. She first shows up on 1851 Census in Carlisle.
