Thankyou Ronald..My problem is that I do not as yet know where my Michael cullen (who may have had a second christian name or may have been using a second christian name!)..came from. I have thought it to be Ireland but as my father(who died midlife in mid1960s)referred to an uncle in Canada and in the States..this may not be so.My Michaels son John again could be from anywhere but he did marry in Wales uk( he's listed..on marr.. in 1909 as being 31.. a collier)Johns wife was an Elizabeth Rees.Now everyone could say on reading this ..that the names mean nothing and are therefore not connected..but how can we be sure ..without knowledge of other family: uncles siblings and their descendants..so you see the dilemma ..can anyone help ..Please..still looking for Michael cullens born somewhere around1830-1864 and his son John born 1878(but he may have been tell "porkies"as his wife was listed as 23(=1886).
