Nellie LIBBEY was child #4 of 5 children born 19 May 1875 Star/Seeleyburg (La Farge), Stark Twp, Vernon Co, WI, USA, to Thomas James Libbey & Laura M Doty. Her other siblings were James Henry, William Clifton (my great-grandfather), Abigail M, and Louise D Libbey.

Nellie married 27 Dec 1890 William Genoa Hancock, at the TJ Libbey residence in Tomah, Monroe Co, WI, USA. The Libbey family had temporarily re-located to Tomah for her father to apply for Civil War Disability payments.

Her sister, Abigail, married William's brother, David S Hancock, three years earlier at the Libbey residence in Star/Seeleyburg (La Farge). They converted to Reformed LDS and lived out their life in Superior, WI, USA.

Do you know the resting places for William Genoa Hancock and Nellie Libbey???
