Does Cuillerier derive from Castanier, vice versa? Iam trying to do research on Galarneaus and one of their wives shows in different records as Cuillerier and as Castanier. Can any one offer any help or advice.

Surnames: Beaubien, Cuillerier, Currier, Spooner
Cuillerier is also given as Currier (l to r shift), translated as Spooner and has dit-names such as Beaubien. There seems no connection to Castanier. Possibly Castanier is related by marriage to Galerneau. The surnames are not derivative of one another.
