Surnames: Cugini Bucci Capaldo Frabotta Scarpitto
My father's paternal grandmother was Anna (Maria) Cugini. She married Ippolito Frabotta. My father's maternal grandmother was Maria Pasqua Capaldo, who married Giovanni Bucci. All of these people were from Roccaraso. Anna & Ippolito's son was my grandfather, who settled in Western PA; Maria & Giovanni Bucci ended up in the same town. Their daughter married my grandfather, and of course moved here also. Maria Pasqua Capaldo's mother was Maria Scarpitto, and her dad was Francesco or Francesio Capaldo.
Several of these names listed here, all from Roccaraso. I don't know anyone's siblings except for my grandfather and grandmother. Roccaraso is in L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy.

Hi Steven, I hope you're still there.
I've tracked down my great-grandmother and I believe that Felicetta was her SISTER.
I found "Anna Maria" Cugini born in Roccaraso to Pasquale Cugini and Rosalba Giardini!!
She married my great-grandfather Ippolito Frabotta, of which I have found "ditkus" on,
except for one trip to the U.S. the year my grandfather was born. As far as I know, Anna Maria
never left Italy, and I know Ippolito was still there in 1920 when his daughter-in-law (my grandmother) came to Pennsylvania to live.
So our great-grandmothers were sisters, and that makes us third cousins, right? Cool!
Are you on 23andme, or Ancestry.com?
Take care, and keep in touch.
