Mr. Paul Cuffee..

My name is Sean Richards. I am a descended relative of Amaza Lee Meredith and Maude Kenney Meredith Terry, who were instrumental in developing the property in Sag Harbor now called Azurest, Sag Harbor Hills and also Ninevah. My family (Richards) still own properties in the Sag Harbor areas including not far from where Cuffee Drive is located, possibly 2 to 3 streets over, (we are located at the intersection of Terry Drive and Richards Drive).

I am interested in some history of the area as it was before it became developed, as well as the Cuffe family and how that street came to be named after them (possibly our families knew each other).

If you have any information from your Grandfather or family members of that area (Ninevah, et al) and can share it with me it would be GREATLY appreciated. You can contact me by email, even if its to say that you can not help.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
Respectfully,
Sean S. Richards.

Dear Mr. Cuffee, do you have any information on a John Tyler Cuffee? I was told that he served in the Civil War as a substitute under the name John Tyler Gardiner. He is my great great grandfather. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
