I know there is one Cuellar tree at Lisarraras y cuellar web
site but it doesnt list all Cuellars in south texas. My family is not on that family tree.Perhaps it was because of the litigations implicated because of all the land the family owned at one time.Or it was because some Cuellars
intermarried with native americans and the offspring were dis owned by the Spanish Cuellars.I know my Cuellar lineage crossed over to an unknown indian tribe from rio verde.I heard my great-grandfather was half breed, and my grandfather
was born with blue eyes,so was my fathers.I have slightly blue hue in mines. There are no more pure blood spaniards any
more, but we still can be descended from the Cuellars that founded Saltillo and Revilla (Guerrero Viejo),there are no other Cuellars that I know of.If you come across another Cuellar family tree let me know.

I think those Cuellars descend from the ones from Guerrero
Viejo.I have read many of Paula's inquiries and it seems that they belong to the Lisarraras y Cuellar family. The
Cuellars were founders of Saltillo in the late 1500s,so you can imagine how many generations have come out of that family. If you are interested in finding out which Cuellars you are descended from there is another web site named
The Genealogy of Mexico and a study which invloves DNA to determine if you are a Cuellar by blood and what Cuellar
you belong to.The study is being done by Gary Felix, they can trace your linage to thousands of years back.Good luck.

We are Cuellar decendents of South Texas. Starting with Bernabe Cuellar (1872-1946) of Villagran, Tamaulipas, Mexico who married his wife Felicitas? (1876-1948) in (Maguays) Linares/Nuevo Leon, Mexico. They had 5 children Cliotilde,Genoviva, Arnulfo, Maria de la Luz and Francesca), all born between 1891-1912) and now all deceased. They entered the USA in mid-1916, settled in Pharr, (Hidalgo, Texas) with his sister Mariana Cuellar-Barajas...then about 1918 all moved on to the Texas City, New Gulf and Wharton area's, near Houston. Only Maria de la Luz returned to the La Valle. Their decendents are spread all over lower coastal Texas.

My father, Juan Ramon Cuellar, Sr. has a family tree that is quite extensive and dates back to maybe the 1500's and Spain. His family is from Hebbronville, Texas. There are many from that area. He is very active in finding relatives. He has mentioned that many came from Guerrero. His Uncle had very blue eyes and he lived in Robstown at the time of his death.
Recently my Uncle Reyes Cuellar passed away and that is how I came about this site of finding relatives.
