Re: Looking for info on John F. Cue
Deb,
It's just my wife, kids and I. My wife is in the military, that's why we are here. I'm originally from Brooklyn N.Y. and most of family is from there. Tks for the assistance.

Re: Looking for info on John F. Cue
I have Cue's from Brooklyn in my family. William and Mary (O'Brien) had atleast two children born in Brooklyn; William George Cue and Richard Cue born 1851 and 1853 in Brooklyn. The family moved to Boston and had a daughter, Alice Fay Cue born 1860 and later moved to San Francisco. As I recall, they had some other children who died very young in either Brooklyn or Boston.
Alice Fay (Cue) McAdoo was my gg grandmother. William George had two boys, but their names as I am told were changed to Cutler after his wife divorced and remarried. William George was an editor of a paper in SF.
I'm not totally sure what happened to Richard. My grandmother's cousin told me that he was a soldier and fought in Modoc (Capt. Jack) Indian War and later went to Australia for their goldrush. I believe that is probably true as he disappeared from Census in California.
I suspect that my William Cue was from County Cork, Ireland, but that is an educated guess and goes against what I have been told in family, but is in sync with their census records.
