Looking for information on George Cuatt from Yorktown, NY, married Agnes Mack or Mcelheney. Some of the children were Percy, Frank, Walter, Cora, Nellie, Lilly, Frederick.

According to the Yorktown, NY census for 1900: George & Agnes were living with his father Isaac and brother Levi (but then I also have Levi elsewhere, probably counted twice). Agnes was mother of 5, only 3 living (Cora, Nellie & Lillie with them in census) Her parents both in Ire and she was born at sea 12/1869.
Daughter Lillie said Agnes was surnamed Mack and born in USA in marriage affidavit. I can't find my source for the McElheney right now. I've also a notation about a daughter Grace, born about 1915 that's unsubstantiated for now.
Isaac Cuatt was son of Cornelius & Lavinia had married to Livinia Tilford in 1849. I don't know about all those Lavinias though, maybe some census taker or recorder made an error.

Hi, would like to talk to you about the Cuatt family. Lancastera2@comcast.net - thank you Willard Lancaster - grandfather Walter Cuatt
|
Willard: So glad to see you are still working on this branch of the Cuatt genology. I have dropped it for a time as I work on my side of the family. I will e-mail you with our details. My husband Henry is a nephew of Walter.

Just getting settled. My grand daughter was born with a cracked shoulder and just got home after three weeks in the hospital.
You have Walter (F) Cuatt. Where did you find the (F). My mother always thought his middle name was Charles, but, wasn't sure. He never used a middle initial. All birth records were lost in records from the Yorktown Hall fire. Congressman Ottinger personaly wrote a letter to verify my grandfather.
If you want, I'll send you what I have. Just need contact info.
Thanks - Willard
