Hola Angela,
I am Evelin J. Cuadra, from Nicaragua; I live in the US since March 1976 and currently living in Mississippi. I know very little about the Cuadras in Nicaragua but lately have been curious about it.
My grandfather (Modesto Cuadra) was born in Granada and then moved to Chontales. I think that he and other relatives initially lived in Acoyapa; however I was born in Juigalpa. I know he had a sister named Ana; I briefly knew her but I was very young (probably 5 yr old) and dont know where she went or what happened to her. I also know his parents were Victor Cuadra and Carmen Sevilla. I was also told by my grandmother that Vicente Cuadra was related to my grandfather and she always called him in her stories, as Tio Chente. I also heard from one of my aunts that there is a book (El Pez y la serpiente) written by a Cuadra who was related to my grandfather; he supposedly sent a copy of the book to my abuelo (I never saw the book).
It's all confusing to me because I gathered all of this information when I was very young. Somehow I think that my great-grandfather’s full name was Victor Cuadra Sacasa (but not sure). Any help on this? My direct email address is
