Nandor Csiszar 1914-2008

HOWLAND — Nandor Csiszar, 94, of Howland, Ohio died at 5:50 a.m. Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 17, 1914, in Gyor Szentmarton, Hungary, the son of John Csiszar and Margaret Stipsits.

Mr. Csiszar came to the United States in 1949 to New Jersey then to Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Warren, Ohio in 1995.

He was a tailor, retiring in 1979 from Harry Weinraub Men’s Store. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.

Mr. Csiszar is survived by his wife, Gizella Juhasz Csiszar, whom he married Oct. 28, 1944.

He is also survived by a daughter, Irene (Robert) Williams of Warren, Ohio; a son, Zoltan John Csiszar of Eastlake, Ohio; two grandchildren, Damien (Stacey) Csiszar of Parma, Ohio and Zane Csiszar of Litchfield, and two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Nathaniel.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Tibor, John, George and Karl Csiszar.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel in Warren, Ohio with the Rev. Frederick E. Trucksis officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park.

HOWLAND - Gizella Csiszar, 88, of Howland, Ohio died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at Gillette Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Nagybarat, Hungary, a daughter of Louis and Maria Nagy Yuhasz.

She moved to the United States in 1949 to New Jersey.
She later lived in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Warren in 1995.

Gizella retired in 1983 from the Parma School System, where she had worked in the maintenance department for 17 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church and enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting, fishing, walking and traveling.

She married Nandor Csiszar on Oct. 28, 1944. He died on May 4, 2008.

Gizella was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by her family, a daughter, Irene (Robert) Williams of Warren; a son, Zoltan John Csiszar of Eastlake; two grandchildren, Damien Csiszar and Zane Csiszar, both of Cleveland; and two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Nathaniel.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Louis, George, John and Emery; and five sisters, Anna, Maria, Elizabeth, Margaret and Magdolna.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Frederick Trucksis officiating.

Friends may call Monday at the Funeral Home, one our prior to the services.

Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park.
