A cousin located a note from my aunt indicating my grandfather Louis Chehi (Chehiloslo) came to the U.S. at the age of 16 in about 1900. He was from Hungary, but his father was from Germany. My Grandmother Elizabeth Veronica Baranyi was born in Hungary, nad two brothers, John and John, and she was first married to a Szilagyi (or Czilagyi)who died, and had three sons, Peter (died age 26), Alexander (died age 6)and Anthony (died at 65). They were left in Hungary when She came to the U.S. Anthony had three sons, Joe, Frank, George and Anthony, who would be cousins and hopefully, still alive and near Komoro in Szolnok, Szatmar-Bereg. Would like to contact these families, so search is narrowing.
