I have information concerning your line...(progressing backward)

1) William Martin Crymes, II m. Mascinda Adele Battle Hawkins

2) Thomas Crymes m. Nancy Crawley Westmoreland
3) George Crymes, Jr. m. Nancy/Ann Dudley
4) George Crymes m. Mildred Bellamy
5) William Crymes m. Christiana (?)
6) Thomas Crymes m. Mary Bond
7) George Crymes m. Alice Lovell
8) Thomas Crymes m. Margaret Moore
9) Thomas Crymes m. Jane Muschamp
10)Richard Crymes m. (?)

Working back to George Crymes (RW veteran), who married Nancy/Ann Dudley, is fairly easy, but before that, you need to locate a copy of "The House of Cantelou & Co." by Stephen McLeod. There is a section in the back of that book that deals with the Crymes family.

You are fortunate that so many people have researched your line. I have a Crymes ancestor that arrived in Lauderdale Co., AL around the 1840s. I know ONLY that his father came from SC. I'm assuming that I connect with the above line SOMEWHERE, but I've never found the connection. Good Luck with you research!!

Deanie,
I'm Bill Crymes Sr. I am from Greenville but have lived in Charleston for many years. I have a son (WBC Jr.) and two daughters ( Lynn and Lauren). My father was T. G. Crymes Jr., the brother of "Pie" Crymes, your father. I have three siblings; Mildred (deceased), T.G.Crymes III (deceased) and a younger sister Mary Lillian. I would like to hear from you. My e-mail is wbcrymes@aol.com. My sister-in-law (Tommy's widow) has done extensive research into the Crymes family and I have that information.

Ann,
I'm Bill Crymes Sr., from Greenville SC, now of Charleston S.C. I have a book, "The House of Cantelou" that traces the Crymes family to England (Sir George Crymes) through Dr. William Crymes who immigrated to Virginia in 1676. His grand daughter,Alice, married Louis Cantelou, a recent immigrant from France, who lived in Augusta GA. Several of her kin moved to the SC upstate, where the Crymes name propergated. I will be glad to share any information. Contact me at wbcrymes@AOL.COM.

Thomas Crymes, who was a Baptist minister at Tussekiah Baptist Church in Lunenburg (the congregation still exists, albeit in a new building, still on Crymes Rd.), never followed the rest of the family down to South Carolina as far as I know. I'm something of an amateur expert on the Crymes family, feel free to email me at mecgenealogy@gmail.com and I'd be more than happy to tell you everything I know and share my research with you.
