Carl, Noted your last message. It seems that the family line shows a Charles Crymble arrived in Ohio in the early 1840's from Ireland. He appears to be the father of my great grand father Hugh whom with his two brothers James and Charles came to Buena Vista, Co. after the Civil War. A sister also came to Co. and lived in St. Elmo, Co. Her name was Emma. Hope this ties in with your history. Let me know.

The siblingsof my grandfather Charles, were Hugh (to Colorado),James, and Margaret.
I would be interested in hearing from Colorado crymbles, who may connect back to Hugh.

Hello Mr. Crymble,
I to am trying to do research on the Crymbme family of Ohio. I have just found some information in the past couple days and I would like to ask you about it, if you don't mind.
I have a John Crymble born 1848 married Frances Harris--marriage date 26 Sept. 1872 Belmont County Ohio.
To this marriage was born 2 children Mary born 1874 and Daniel born 1875. Daughter Mary married Charles Seabright 12 March 1902 Belmont County Ohio. Daniel is still living with his Mother on the 1920 Belmont Co. Census, but there isn't a John listed with them. I was wondering if you would know anything about this John Crymble?
If you could help I woulf be most greatful.
Thank you,
Roxann Hoover

Mr. Crymble,
Please excuse my mistakes form the last posting. That is what happens when one is in a hurry.
I thought I would pass this on to you as it seems to be the people you are talking about.

1850 Belmont County Ohio Census---Richland Twp.
Charles Crymble age 40--- Ire.---farmer
Mary age 30--- Ire.
Hugh age 10---OH
James age 8---OH
William age 6---OH
Mary age 4---OH
James McCurley age 75---Ire---laborer
I don't know where this James fits in, I guess it could be wife Mary's father.

I also found a Joseph and William Crymble in the Belmont County Ohio census if you would like I could send it to you. They too are from Ireland.
You may have all this I realize that, but just incase you don't I thought I would send it.
Thanks,
Roxann Hoover

william,
in checking through my printouts from the IGI record, I find that there is a margaret Jane Mccurley who married charles crymble 12 Nov. 1838. the marriage took place at Ballylinney parish, presbyterian church, County antrim, Ireland. The first name differs , but its possible that Margaret Jane used Catherine as her name. My name is Charles, and I use this name on official documents, but the world knows me as Carl.
Ballylinney is and was a Crymble area. Let me know if you think.
Carl

Hi Carl, Thanks for the info. There is a deffinet connection in your information and that of us here in Colo. but there seems to be some confussion as to just whom is whom in the family here in the Ohio familly tree. I am to get other info from my brother in the next few days. He just came across some old papers of my fathers and maybe this will help clear up some things. I do believe we are on the right track. And in the future I'll be glad to fill you in on what I have on our family here in Colo.
Bill

Hi Bill,
Thanks for getting back to me. This family stuff sure can add up to alot of time. I was researching the Harris family which is one of my family line and that is where the Crymble can in. So I thought I would research that one too. I am sending for the death certificate of Frances Harris Crymble. I still haven't figured out what happened to her husband John. I'll do some more digging on that. I'll look in my 1850 Belmont County Ohio census book and see if I can find who John's parents were. I'll keep intouch.
Thanks again,
Roxann in WV
