Hi
I have a William Hamilton Crymble in my Pioneer Research who came to Australia prior to 1866. He was born about 1826 in Ireland. Is he any relation to you? I know very little about him.

Am a Crymble from East Tennessee. My Father talked about Crymbles in N. Ireland. I am going there at the end of August and would like to meet some Crymbles, especially since there are not many around here.

Hello Peter
I have just had a breakthrough and put all of you together with 'my' Crymbles of Carnmoney!! I did it with my cousin Joan finding a posting about our grt grt grandfather Hugh Crymble's (b. 1828) will with a Edward Marshall Tate Crymble as executor. Who turned out to come from Agnes Tate and Charles Crymble. Now I know William Crymble 1777 is my grt grt grt Grandfather and his father was Charles Crymble b. 1743. If you all go to my tree you will see all the Crymbles patched together including the Ohio lot. I will add in the New Zealand and Australian lot next.
I am sooo pleased! My 84 yr old (tomorrow) mother from Belfast is going to be so happy! Her grandmother was Maggie Crymble marrying James Thompson. Her pic is on my tree.
I hope my tree helps many of the other Crymbles.

Hi Peter and Hello from Canada
Was in Ireland 2 weeks ago doing research on my Giffen family at PRONI and Linen Hall. I was most interested in getting the obits of great grandfather's family from Carrick which appear to have been almost completely wiped out by consumption during the 1880's. Thankfully one survived. I have an obit from the BNL which you may be able to help with as it mentions you family. It Reads as follows
"Giffen- January 15 1891 at the residence of Mr. John Crymble, Carrickfergus Junction, Jane, the only surviving daughter of the late James Giffen, Carrickfergus aged 16 years. The remains of my beloved sister will be removed from the above address, for internment in the New Burying-ground Carrickfergus, Saturday afternoon, at half-past 2'oclock. Friends will please this intimation.
(signed) David Giffen (my grandfather)."
Do you have any history on this event ie. what she was doing there? Sorry to dredge up unhappy news but this is just another mystery that you may be able to solve.
Hope to hear from you. Loved our trip and will come back as there is so much to see, learn and do.
Betsy Sinclair.
