Charles Crymble, my 3rd Great Grandfather on my mother's side, immigrated to the US sometime prior to 1826. He married Martha Thompson (Maine USA) on Apr 30, 1826 and settled in Embden, Maine, USA. I have the original family register of their family here which is very informative, but it does not reference family members prior to their marriage. His mention of his birthplace (Newtownards) is the only piece of have. I have not been able to find his name on any of the port logs thus far, but feel, because of his wife's lineage the port may have been in Massachusetts. I also have no idea if he came alone or with other family members. Because so many infants were named after close relatives back then, it may be helpful to mention their children's names here as well. Lucius Connor Crymble = Oct 16, 1826; Margaret H. = Jan 25, 1828 (she only survived a few months); Nelson = Jan 29, 1829; John H. = Nov 1, 1830; Martha = Oct 21, 1832; Charles Jr. = Jul 9, 1835; & Caldow (G) I think = Jul 17, 1838. Hoping this information may ring a bell with someone interest in the Crymble lineage and at the very least off someone else a lead as well. Looking forward to hearing from folks! Martha
