I am getting quite desparate in my search for william crye born 1860? and his father john crye can anyone out there help me? I can say that we believe them to have originated from the Isle of Man, we also have the names edward, dora , and thomas that seem to follow the family tree.we also have detectives that came over from the states in 1930/1940 to try and find the decendants of william crye, this is not about any kind of inheritance only a family tree.the story of the detectives can be unfolded if anyone can relate to this. thanks gill

My grandmother was a Crye. Her father's name was Zachariah Robinson Crye and his Father's name was John Crye born 1811 in Virginia. John Crye was married to Audrey Davis and they had 13 children, one of which was named John also. He was born in 1840, and that could be the John you refer to. Any more info that I might help, I would be glad to. Email me at BFecteau14@aol
