Years ago I was reasearching the Cryderman name and have a history on Valentine Cryderman (cir. 1740) who lived in Johnstown, Tyron Co., N.Y. He was a British Loyalist and died 1780 in N.Y. (?). His wife and children moved to Canada (Cornwall in June of 1784).
I've determined I'm not related to the Crydermans even though my grandmother was raised by a Cryderman family in Canada.
Would like to pass this information along to anyone who is interested.

There was also a Valentine Cryderman dates 1863-1935 who lived in Baldwin Ontario. He married Elizabeth Sedore dates 1866 - 1927. Valentine and Elizabeth had a son, Allan H. Cryderman who married Alameda M. Wrightman in 1902. Allan's dates are 1878 - 1964 and Alameda's dates are 1883-1949. Elizabeth's maiden name was Archibald according to the marriage record for Allan. All are buried in the Baldwin Christian Church Cemetery along with two infants, Rosey and Robert (children of Allan and Alameda).
Not sure if they are related but with the name "Valentine" thought there was a pretty good chance.
I'm not related, but have Crydermans in my distant family tree.
