Okay I guess here are the facts that we know for sure:
1. Albert's (Crow) death certificate was filled out with Atrides Crow listed as his father. Mind you death certificates were written under stress and not considered 100 percent correct. But at least we know that it shows some connection to Atrides. Ugh I cannot find my copy so I will pay the 7 bucks again to the court house.
2. Albert's (Crow) birth certificate (or rather the county birth records) listed Mary Shaw Waters as the mother of Albert Jackson Crow and no father was listed in 23 May 1854.
3. Albert's (Crow) headstone states dob as 23 May 1853.
3. Mary Waters and Atrides Crow divorced in Arkansas and there is proof of the divorce in 23 May 1851. 3 Years before Albert was born.
4. The other children of Mary and Atrides Crow went to various family member's houses after their father died. Rondolia (daughter) was married possibly at the time?
5. Mary and Albert show up on the census records in 1860 in Hardin County, Illinois living with the Beevers (sorry if I spelled the name wrong) as a servant.
6. Mary remarried Willis Hamilton around 1861.
7. 1870 census show Albert living with Mary and Willis.
8. He married Louisa Jane Keller when he was 22 and she was 16 years old (both of her parents died...don't know how or why)
9. Date of Death for Albert 12 Dec 1938 and buried at Hobbs Cemetery (I just saw this headstone last July) next to wife Lou.
