Re: military service record--Christian or Michael Croussore

I'm not sure where the Michael Crossore came in to play. I am a decendant of Nicholas Crousore, not sure birth and death dates. His chilren are Catherine, Elizabeth, Jacob
Magdalene, Margaret, Susannah, Mary, Nicholas Jr. (which I'm from that line), John and Christian born 1777. Perhaps some of this got mixed together and they aren't all related???

military service record--Christian or Michael Croussore

I am a descendent of Christian Croussore, son of Michael Croussore, who was born in 1750, possibly in Alsace.
The family pioneered Howard County Indiana. I have reason to believe that there is a tombstone for Christian Croussore in the town cemetery in Greencastle Indiana (just east of Kokomo). This tombstone lists the military unit in which Christian Croussore served.
I was told that this referred to his Revolutionary War service, but the date does not fit---Christian was born in 1777.
Possible it is a reference to his father, Michael Croussore, who was born in 1750.
If anyone has this kind of info regarding Christian or Michael Croussore, please email me. Thanks
