I have nothing on your Jacob. My Crousores go back to Nicholas [1757-1815] of Cumberland & Fayette Co's, PA. The family moved to Ohio, then to Howard Co., IN and spread out from there. Robert b. 1710 is new to me. All of my info deals with desc. of Nicholas.

Checked my charts: Show Jacob [22 Apr 1862 Howard Co., IN - 11 Sep 1936] m. Nellie Adela Deetor. They had a son Frederick [1901 Union City, OH - 1974]. Jacob was the son of John [1812 PA - 1898] & 2nd wife Mary Ann Love [1833-1898] m. 11 Apr 1852. John son of Christian [c1777 PA - 1-Jan-1865] & Susannah [unk]. Christian son of Nicholas.

If you need more e-mail: tprall@indy.rr.com

I think Mary A(ann ) Love 1833 married John Crousore ( Crawsore)is my great great grand mother on my father Robert Claude Crousore born in 1921 in Greencastle Indiana. His father was Frederick C. Crousore son of Jacob Crtousore also from Indiana. Mary Love's parents were Isiah Love born in Virginia Aril 5th, 1795 and died in 1850 in Delaware, county, Indiana Her mother was margaret ( peggy) Shinault ( Chenault) born 1798 in Virginia and died 1829 in Indiana. I understand that their is a Crousore cemetry on the 'fringes' of Howard County and there are quite a few Crousore's buried at Crown Point Cemetary in Kokomo, Indiana. Have you tried Tribal pages? Look at the Ormsby's of Indiana- they have a good picture of Ida Crousore and there is a picture of John Crousore on Ancestry.com. Good luck, let me know how you make out. Dodie

Have read messages on Ancestry.com msg board that you have a lot of Crousore information which I would be interested in. My wife is a descendant of Jacob Crousore of Kokomo and Greencastle, IN who married Nellie Deetor. Jacob's father was John Crousore b 1812 or 1813 in Delaware Co, IN and his father was Christian Crousore b 1777 in Mansfield, PA according to the information I have. I'm told by one of my wife's cousins that Christian's father was a Nicholas Crousore from Cumberland Co, PA and lived and died in Springhill Twp, Fayette Co, PA & married an Elizabeth Crislip or Christlieb of Mifflin Twp, Cumberland Co , PA or Mifflin Co, PA. I have no firm source for this information on Nicholas or his wife Elizabeth. Do you have any ? Would be glad to share whatever I have with you as well.

John Oldach
doc14051@msn.com

I have been able to find a lot of Indiana CROUSSORE info on FTM Descendants of Nicholas Crousore. My GG-Grandmother was not born before the family moved from the area the census info was taken from for this website. Do you have any info on an Ida May CROUSSORE b May 1872 in Kokomo, IN. Married multiple times (DAVIS, INSKEEP, FANNING). Please advise email myegge@earthlink.net. Thank you!
