I have a note from my 90 yr old father, John Crossley Pomfret' re: his mother Mary [Crossley] Pomfret.
He says she married my grandfather in 1906.

She had 3 sisters:
Martha, who married a Mr Howarth and had 3 children -Gordon, Noah David.

Sarah, a spinster.

Nellie, married to J. Robinson had 5 children: John, Nellie, Annie, Alfred Marian or Marion.

Mr Robinson was the manager of the Mill Hill Cotton Factory. Prior to that he was the Carder in Bury at Warth Mills, Radcliffe Rd.

Mary could definitely be a sibling of your Elizabeth...is Nellie your Elizabeth?
