I have just found the death certificate for my great grandfather, David Crosby. The certificate list his parents at Peter Crosby and Betsy Hunter. So, I look for information on Ancestry and it seems there is about 3 Peter Crosby's married to Elizabeth (Betsy) and all there trees seem to be all mixed and twisted into each other (all claim to have the same father). Peter and Elizabeth of Milltown Ga-parents of many including David Riley. Peter of Barrien who died in the civil war and My Peter Crosby died before 1880 who also has a son named David. All three seem to have hailed from SC and all share similiar birth years. Abe Crosby is the father of one of the Peter Crosby's. Has anyone extensive research on these Peters?
