I live in Killarney, Co Kerry, Ireland.
My greatgrandfather was Denis Cronin. He came to Kerry from Cork in 1853 working on the construction of the railway. He is shown in Griffiths Valuation 1853 at ballybrack railway station in Ballyhar which is four miles north of Killarney. he married Mary Moriarty in 1838 and all the Gene Cronins in America could be called after the Moriarties.
