Shadara: We DO have some family photos of the Charles Dawson Croall line.
What info do you have on Ray?
We have some info & photos, and we'll be glad to share what we have.
My husband comes through Charles Richard Croall, Ray's older brother. Charles Richard Croall is my husband's Grandfather.
Do you have the info for a family group sheet for this family?
We could correspond directly by email, if that's okay with you; our email address is: klcroall@q.com.
We're in Portland, Oregon, where our leg of the family has resided for a number of years.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Linda Croall

Isabelle:
Just read your posting about the Croalls in Edinburg. Someone else was inquiring about the info. We're interested, also. Would you please tell us about this information?
Thanks,
Linda

I would love to compare notes with you as I have quite a bit of information on my gg grandmother, Lillian "Ray", but I do not have much on her siblings. It would also be great to get a copy of the marriage certificate, if possible. I would be happy to share the photos that I have of them.

I would love a copy of the John and Elizabeth Croall marriage certificate > I am Grand daughter of LaVerne Ebling Sorensen (just celebrated her 94th bday) = "Ray" Croall Ebling's Daughter. If possible please send to my email acct hkskoubo@yahoo.com. Little known fact that LaVerne was a twin to which her sister died at birth.

To set the records straight... It is documented that John Croall and another Scotsman (most likely of Davidson Clan) saved the King of England from harm and possible death. As a reward, John was given land in Edinburgh Scotland and a statue was later erected. It was an honor for anyone back then outside of the 8 main clans to receive and/or to own land. After receiving the land, he established a home and business (funeral svcs). It has also been said that John did time in Ireland establishing the mail delivery system. There is dispute whether this is the same John or possibly his son... No dates have been found or posted for Ireland.
