Looking for any information on the name: croal(was changed to cronin upon arrival in america) terence croal and catherine quinn croal from fermanagh ireland abt 1892. they had had 4 children: anne,mary,terence and patrick. any info would be great!

My grandfather John Croal emigrated in 1920s to US from
Rossinver, Co. Leitrim and name was changed not
to Cronin but to Crowell in New York. Rossinver is right
over border from Fermanagh in Northern Leitrim. I have been
gathering information on this branch of Croals - do you know
where they were originally from? It's not a very common name
in Ireland...happy to exchange any info I've gathered with you.

Am looking for John Croal, b-approx 1795-1800 in Ireland, John and wife came to Connecticut first, raising a family there/
Included Andrew Croal, b. 1820. John and familiy moved to Milwaukee, WI ini 1857-59, John died there age 91. Need list of children, other than Andrew. Had son also named John Croal,Jr, his son named Thomas.
Appreciate checking your lineage for these.
