Tipperary to Wisconsin in the 1840's

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has a connection to the Dunphy and
Croak families who left Ireland in the 1840's and settled in the Green and Rock
counties, WI. I'm trying to find where in Tipperary they came from (possibly
Ballingarry) and who was who's sibling. I have a Margaret Dunphy b. abt 1822
and believe a Mary Dunphy Croak b. abt 1825, to be her sister, there was also a
John Dunphy b. abt 1820, living with Mary Dunphy Croak in the 1860 Albany,
Green, WI census. There are quite a few Dunphy's buried in the Calvary (Old
Croak Settlement) Cemetery in Magnolia.

Did one of your Wisconsin folks descend from
Mary Ann / Anna Croak & Patrick Farrell?

Anna was born prior to 1808.

My interest in the Croak line is because of a marriage between Mary Dunphy and Jeffery Croak. Mary being a sister to my gg grandmother Margaret Dunphy who married Patrick Breen. Mary Croak is mentioned in her nephew Michael Breen's obituary. This Breen family is buried in the Old Croak Settlement cemetery in Magnolia twp, Rock, WI. It has been passed down and in one of the Breen child's obituary that they first went to Janesville around 1850. I have not found them in Janeville, but by 1860 they were found in Sauk. There are quite a few Croak, Dunphy and a few Breen families found in the 1824 tithe for Parish Ballingarry, Tipperary. Just did a quick check and note a few Farrell's also. http://www.rootsweb.com/~irltip2/tab3_1.htm
Do you know where in Tipperary your Croak family is from?

Patrick Farrell married Mary Ann----her last name is uncertain. From inspection of County records, it apprears to be CROAK .
Patrick and Mary Ann both born in Ireland abt 1801.
Mary Ann died in Janesville WI 1873.
Son Patrick Farrell born 1822. He married Catherine Graham. Both died in Janesville: he in 1898, she in 1901. We are trying to learn more of Farrell/Croak when they lived in Janesville.

My immigrent ancestor is Philip Dunphy, b abt 1816, immigrated c 1840. In 1853 he was in Dodge county, by 1855 he was in Portage county, where he lived until his death in 1892. Reportedly he was from County Kilkenny and first lived in Boston before moving west.

Both the Dunphy and Croak families are in my ancestry. According to the information I have, both families originated in Ballingarry, Ireland. Assuming dates to be guesstimates, Bridget (Biddy) was born in 1805, John in 1809, Mary Ellen (Ellen) in 1811, Catherine (Kate) in 1817 and Margaret in 1814. Bridget married Richard Dawson, my gg grandfather. Richard died in Ireland but Bridget died in 1880 in Albany, WI and is buried in the Croak Cemetery. Mary Ellen married Jeffery Croak. Catherine married Stephen McDermott. Margaret married Patrick Breen.
I was hoping someone would have information regarding Richard Dawson and his family. Richard and Bridget lived in Parish Callan (or Cullin ?), Co. Kilkinny.
