Father: Heinrich Cruetz. Mother: Annamaria Creutzen. They immigrated in 1752. m. Dorthea Broder, b. 1733 in Germany. Their children: Henry, Jacob, Andrew, Otilga Wilhelm, Agnes Kintner, John Nicholas, George Wilhelm & Dorthea Whitely.

Family settled in Northampton Co., Pa. and then later settled in (1790's) Washington Co., Pa. and then into Guernsey & Tuscawaras Counties, Ohio (early 1800's).
