Hi,
I'm so glad you listed the exception to the name spelling as tht person Johannes Krembs. I know he was a german palatine who settled in the stone arabia area of new york. I have quite a few of his children and see no changes in their name spelling. My mystery involves a maria margaretha who i see documentation that she dies in a very small town in ontario. I'm not sure if that is a mistake or what.
thanks for all the hard work you posted.
If anyone out there reading this is also a descendant of the johannes Krembs palatine immigrant i'd love to collaborate.
