i do not know hannorah creagh (my genealogy is all in pennsylvania, and i am in northern ireland at the moment), but my paternal grandmother, mary creagh was from great bend, ny. i have the whole creagh history, dating back to the 16th century, i believe, and will look up hannorah for you, if you'd like.
(not sure if you'll even receive this post, as i've found this so long after you've written it!)

My Great Grandmother was Hannorah Creagh. She married James W. O'Mara in Chicago, IL, after they came to the US separately from Ireland. they moved from Chicago to Humphrey, NY, near Olean, NY. Should we talk further?

Kathryn-My great-great-grandmother was Hannorah Creagh that married James W. O-Mara. I'm trying to find more out about that side of the tree. I have a fairly extensive network from their marriage, but nothing before. What headway have you been able to make?

Re: Hannorah Creagh / Creagh history
As you have quite a bit of Creagh history and my Cray is from NW PA, just maybe you can help me connect with Creagh's in Ireland. William Cray b abt 1822 immigrated to US in 1850 with wife Johanna Collins Cray b 1830 and mother-in-law Catherine Burk Collins b abt 1795. He is from Drewscourt, Ballyagran, Ireland. East Drewscourt is in Co Limerick, although oral history says he is from Co Cork (West Drewscourt is in Co Cork). Catherine Burk Collins is the daughter of John Burk. Also has a younger brother named James Burk. If no connection to your Creaghs, any help on where to find additional information would be appreciated.

Hanorah Creagh was my great grandmother -- she originally settled in Chicago, and then after marrying James William O'Mara in Chicago and having about 5-6 of her 11 living children, moved to Howe Hill, New York, near the Salamca/Olean, New York area

Also, she had at least 3 brothers, James, William, and Edward (or Edmond, who was a Catholic priest). James and William settled in Texas. One of the Texas brothers had no children (I think William), but I have correpondence in my files from a daughter of one of the brothers sent to my mother, Helen Bentley Birmingham.
