Traendly info

Hello,
This post is so old, I don't know if you'll ever see my reply, but just in case...
My mother was Marion Traendly, daughter of John Traendly(who was the son of Frank H. Traendly)and who owned a large rose growing business in Rowayton, CT. My grandfather patented the Mrs Franklin D. Roosevelt Rose in 1933. My grandfather and great-grandfather were originally from New York. Our great-grandfathers may be brothers? Which I believe would make you and I second cousins of sorts.
Let me know if you receive this and perhaps we may do a bit more sleuthing.

Hi Gail,
I found a Jeff Niese on facebook and sent a message but never got a reply. It was probably not the same one.
I'm sure we are distantly related, I just can't find the direct lineage. All I can find online is that my great grandfather was Frank Traendly and his father was a Frank Traendly as well. My grandfather, John Traendly, died in 1968 when I was six, my grandmother in '92, and I'm estranged from my mother, so I really can't ask any questions there. I'm not sure if my grandfather or great-grandfather had any siblings, though I'm suspecting your grandfather was either a brother, or at least a first cousin, as according to this page: http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?P...
it seems they were both born in Brooklyn, and both being connected to the flower business, it adds up. Do you have any relatives from whom you can inquire?
Also, have you ever tried a google news archive search? I've found some pretty interesting articles there, including finding out my mother was once a runaway...

My name is JeanLouise I am William A Creagh's daughter. I live in Phoenix Az. I am 47 years old. I didnt know my father well he left myself, Veronica, Tank and Eric (creaghs) when we were little kids. He was a lousy father. I would like to know my Creagh side of the family but everytime I reach out to them I get cut off. I guess leaving New York at four was a crime not to be forgiven, even know it was my fathers idea. Hi Lisa long time no talk to. Hows's Holly? If you have Eric or Ronnys phone number still they have mine love to hear from you and Holly too. Love always Jean.

I am researching the Creagh family in Apolacon, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Members of the family include Catherine Creagh, Thomas Creagh, William J. Creagh, Mary A. Creagh, Bridget E. Creagh. I found a Thomas Creagh in Binghamton, NY. Are you related? I'm trying to determine if Thomas Creagh and Thomas F. Creagh are one in the same person.
Thank you.
