First of all, greetings to all of my long lost relatives ;-)
My name is Gray Hamilton Creager IV, and I was born (1967) and raised in Maryland, but now live in California. There is not too much information about my father's side of the family, but I know that I am a product of the Northern Virgina, Western Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvania branch of the family.
I would be interested in any information that would help me fill out some of my ancestral tree. Here's what I know so far.
My father - Gray H. Creager III (b. 1940), married to Mary Riley. My grandfather - Gray H. Creager II (b. 1916), married to Dorothy Overmann. My ggrandfather - Gray H. Creager I (b. circa 1895), married to Price. My gggrandfather - George Creager II (b. circa 1870), married to Anna Kline. My ggggrandfather - George P. Creager (b. circa 1845), married to Margeret Kinsley. My gggggrandfather - Lewis P. Creager (b. circa 1822), married to Ann C. Trone.
At that point, my knowledge of the Creager line dries up. I know a couple more generations of the "Trone" line, but that's not my primary interest right now.
If anyone can enlighten me further, with siblings, ancestors, etc., I would appreciate it immensely.

No, sorry. The only information I have about my lineage was what I posted. I was really hoping that someone else would recognize some of the names/dates from their own research. Sorry.

I can add a little info to your Creager family history. My aunt Helen Reid was married for a very short time to Gray Hamilton Creager. She haled from Port Huron Michigan and met Gray while he was an engineer at a local foundry. They had a very elaborate wedding in Pt. Huron but sadly their marriage did not survive. He-gray-then travelled from Michigan to Panama. There were no children from this marriage. In doing research I found that Gray had been married earlier and had a son Gray Hamilton 11. His wife died soon after childbirth and perhaps out of sorrow began to travel. My Aunt Helen never remarried and died at age 28 from acute appendicitis. She appently died after they were divorced because her obit. listed her as Helen Reid.

Thanks. I just noticed your answer. There were rumors that my great grandfather had re-married and perhaps even had another child, but I didn't know for sure. The story I've heard is that he took ill in Panama and later died (in Hanover, PA) in 1926 at the age of 32.
His first wife was Marie Adele Price. They were married in 1915 and she died in 1916.

Your ggrandfather married my aunt...Helen Reid in Port Huron Michigan. She died at a very young age...no children from this marriage. He was married before marrying my aunt, but I believe thhat his first wife died eith after childbirth or soon after. A son came from that marriage. It is my understanding that he died while working down in Panama.
