They emmigrated to Buffalo, NY, USA and gave birth to my grandmother Mary Elizabeth Ward on 27 Apr 1879 and then had James, Margaret, John, and Robert. Dennis Ward was gored by a bull and died 13 Sep 1893 and Rose died 05 Sep 1915 in Buffalo, NY. Looking for any information on births, marriages, deaths, siblings.
I just came across this post you put up back in 2000 and was wondering if you are still reachable. I have some information about Mary Cregan, my grandmother, who lived in Binghamton, NY and was married to my grandfather, John H. Minehan. She died in 1921 and her death certificate lists her parents as Patrick Cregan and Anna Mangan, both from Co. Clare. This sounds like it could be the same family you are looking for.

Please respond to this if you're monitoring and I can go into more detail.

I do not find a "Birminham" in New York State; perhaps BINGHAMTON in Broome County NY? This city abuts the northeast corner of Pennsylvania. The City of Rochester in in Monroe County NY. Perhaps posting in these counties might give you a lead, especially with the possible spellings of Creagan, Crehan, Creagen, Creagan etc. Good Luck

I am researching any family lines from Patrick Creagan and wife Catherine O'Rourke . They were married in Bruff, Co. Limerick, Ire. March 1, 1829 at the parish in Bruff. Some records call him Patrick John Creagan. The church in Bruff says records show bapt. of Lawrence ,16 Jan. 1830... Michael, 30 July, 1831....Johanna Sept. 10. 1834..... our great grandmother Honora was a unregistered child, prob.if the child was ill and then some tiomes bapt. at home and the priest would forget to reg. the person. Her birth was July 1840.I think Lawrenc came to Am. before the parents did in abt. 1851/52.
