Surnames: Salerno, Reitano, Crea, Tamborino
I have been researching my family. Now I have begun on my husband's family.
I do not have a lot of info. We believe they came over in the 1900's from Naples to Ellis Island. Settled New York/CT region.

Lucio Salvatore Salerno son of
Salvatore "Sam" Salerno & Philomena Tambourino.
Lucio married Jennie Reitano daughter of
Francesca Crea and Mariani Reitano
Their Children: Thomas, Paula, Joseph Antionette, Minerva, Frances, Mary, Jennie.
Jennie married Lucio Salvatore Salerno (1910-1977)
Children: Carole & Louis
Lucio Salvatore Salerno son of
Salvatore "Sam" Salerno & Philomena Tambourino.
Believe that Salvatore's father was a science professor at a University in Italy near Naples his wife was a dressmaker with a successful storefront (from what I understand, unusual for that period in time)

I think there may be a Francesa Crea in my family... do you have any other info on her (siblings or parents names?)

Martha:
Francesca's father was Natalie Crea; Mother was Giavania (surname unknown). There were three children: Francesca (9/9/1880), Mary (birthday unknown), Romeo (12/17/1887.
Francesca married Mariani Reitano (birth 1/5/1885). Both were born inCalabria Italy. (Spelling of Reitano probably change on upon arrival).
They were married in New York approx 1904.
One of their daughters was my husbands, grandmother.
Does any of this fix into your tree?
