I am looking for Crawfords who came to the US from Ayshire, Scotland. I have John Crawford (b. 1830, Scotland) married to Margaret Crawford, Andrew Crawford (b. 1847, Scotland) married to Isabella, James Dale Crawford (b. 1891, Mass, USA) married to Eleanor Finneran, and James Joseph Crawford (b. 1918, Mass, USA) married to Ruth Burkett. I am really lacking in information on James Dale Crawford. I know he was a detective for the Sherman Detective Agency in 1930. The story goes he was murdered in his car in 1930 while investigating, but I can't find an obituary, newspaper article, or even a death certificate. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
