I am a ggggranddaugter of Franklin Craig (Benjamin Franklin). He was born 30-Jul-1817 in Virginia and died 22-Apr-1907 in Grundy County, Mo. He married Malinda Booram in 1835 in Mason County Viriginia. His parents were Rachal Harrison born 1801 in Va the daughter of Joseph and Isabel Jeffers Harrison and John Craig the son of George and Kitty Kennerly Craig. Family history states that Franklin and his sister Miriam were "woodscolts", their parents never married. I am trying to locate any documentation that will connect Rachal Harrison and/or John Craig as being the parents of Franklin and Miriam. Rachal married Felix McLey in 1823 and the McLey's and Booram's, and Craig Families moved to Grundy County, Mo in the early 1840's.
