I've been viewing the postings under your heading and was wondering if there was any meantion of a Elizabeth Craig married to a Joseph Thom. Their child Jane Thom (born in Glasgow, Scotland) married Robert Cathcart who was born in Ireland about 1772.

Does that ring any bells???
