Randy, thanks for the message. Since I last posted msg, found more info on Isaac Crable. He was 2nd settler in York, Ne. May 1869. Wife Rachel Watts, parents Abraham & Sarah. Info came from book about York, Ne. Do you have same info?

Peggy, I also found some info on a Isaac Crable in the York County census for 1870 but it shows Isaac married to a Hannah and also lists a M.A. and L.B. Crable. As it turns out I no longer believe that this is the Isaac that Is my GGG Grandfather. I have since found another Isaac with wife Margeret and sons John J. and Frank R. in othe Nebraska census. John J. was my GG Grandfather. Thanks for your email and if I can be any more help just let me know. Randy

Randy, as you can see I have not checked this message board for a while. I believe we are talking about the same Isaac. My GG Grandfather is Frank R Crable and his brother is John J, parents are Isaac and Margaret (or Rachel depending on what source you look at). I lose track of Isaac in 1870 (unless he remarried Hannah). I found his grave in Broken Bow which is where my Grandfather grew up. I know my GG Grandfather Frank divorced his wife and I think he remarried but haven't found that info out yet. Did your GG Grandfather John J have a brother named Frank R?

The information I have of Issac ****** is a little different than you have. I show that he was born March 1,1821 in Pickaway County, Ohio. He was The son of Abraham and Sarah (Davis) ******. So this Sarah has to be a different one than you have because my Sarah would have been born around the 1820's give or take. Issac ****** would have been my GGG Grandfather. I show that Issac was married in Illinois to a woman named Rachel Watts and they had two Boys. How ever I also show on a Census Form That His wife was Named Margeret. So at this point Iam not Sure Whitch is correct. I do know that his two boys were John James, who was my GG Grandfather. He was born in 1849 in Iowa. The other son was Frank Robert. He was born in December of 1855 also in Iowa. The Family did move to Nebraska. I don't have any thing on your John H. or Samuel David or Sarah E. I do have good Information on the family From John J. down to me and some information about Frank Robert. John J. is buried in Nebraska City with his first wife Minnie and his youngest children who were twins Aurther and Marie. Frank Robert is buried in Broken Bow. I would be happy to exchange any other Info I have with you. Thanks

Unfortunatly Ihaven't been keeping up with the message boards because Ihave been so busy the past year. I will try and do better. Thanks Randy
