Crabbs from Maryland

Classification: Query
Surnames: Crabbs, Oler, Todd
I am a descendent of Frederick Crabbs born 1799 in Maryland, married to Matilda Todd. Their children were John, William Jasper, George W, Andrew Jackson Sr. ( My 2x Great Grandfather), Charles E.,and Rachel. My Aunt tells me his parents were Frederick Crabbs(b.1774) and Catherine Oler (married 21 Feb 1803 in Fred. MD), but I can't find any proof yet. George Crabbs Sr.(b.1793) lived next to Frederick Crabbs(b.1799) in 1850 census so I think they might be brothers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David G. Crabbs Enid, Oklahoma

Are you still working on the Crabbs from Maryland? I'm working on John Crabbs who died intestate 1829; widow was Mary and 8 children; Frederick County, MD
Thanks,
Marti

It's been a while since I have found anything new. My 3rd Great Grandfather Frederick Crabbs' oldest son was named John (b. 1824 d. 1878) which could mean his father was named John also. Please let me know if you can add to that. Thanks & Good Luck! David
