Joyce, I was trying to research my grandmothers family and the only information I have is that she mentioned years ago that her first or second cousin was Buster Crabbe. Through research I found the names of Cuffy and Lindsay. Hoping to find more ancestors I was hoping Lindsay might have some information, or possibly have some knowledge of my grandmothers Crabb ancestory. Thank you for responding. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Are you related to Buster Crabbe as this is his granddaughter and son that you have listed. My family are also related to them so my father says. He and his sister recall being told about Buster when they were quite young. My father is 66 so it has been some time. Can you connect yourself to the Crabbe family from Barmouth, Wales? I would love to hear from you.

I was just looking online and found that you were looking for me and my dad, Cuffy. Are you still?

Hi,
Do you know if you have any family connections to the CRABBE family from Merrioneth, Wales? My father, now 70 yrs of age, has always claimed that his Aunty Myra told him that Clarence Buster Crabbe was a distant cousin of his. It would be nice if he knew for sure before he gets any older. If you can help us in any way, it would be much appreciated. Just out of interest though, we have compared photographs of Buster with photos of my dad, uncle and grandfather and there is a resemblance.
Kind regards,

You might try to trace your father's family back to wherever. That's the only way you'll find out for sure who you're related to. By the way, I've been researching the Crabb family for over 30 years, and so far, they ALL trace back to the UK. I'll be glad to help you if I can. Just get as much info on your family as you can, then go for census records. They will tell you where that branch of your family is from, then you can trace THEM back from there. I think everyone with the name Crabb was told at one point that they were related to Buster, the actor, Buster, the English soldier, or George, the poet.

Ceri Crabbe in UK, Sorry but Lindsay Crabbe Is unaware of her Crabbe genealogy, but a few in her family are aware.
Her Crabbe genealogy does not go back to Wales, but to William Augustus Crabb chr 1743 in Cornwall County, England and is proven by England Parish records and Wills and goes back in time many, many generations in Cornwall County, England.
I am double related to William Augustus Crabb's parents. A living member of my Crabb family has done a DNA test and I have his results.
May I suggest your father being his surname is Crabbe have a DNA test. And I suggest familytreedna.
