Looking for info on Edward Ralph Crabb (b. c. 1737) of England. He came to US in mid 1700s with two brothers. Settled in Westmooreland, VA, later Ross/Pickaway co.,OH; m. Rachel Ball Bailey and had 11 children. Would like to find his parents and siblings' names.

Barbara, do you know the name of Edward's brothers? Could Frederick Crabb (wife, Christina) be his brother? I have a Crabb/Crabbs line with ties to both Va and Md, but seem to have hit a brick wall here.
Thanks and good luck in your own search!
Penny

I also have an Edward Crabb born 1800 in VA married to Eleanor. They had 7 children born in Pickaway County Ohio - Benjamin Franklin, 1847-1899; Hugh Maxwell, 1847-1924 (twin to BF); Nancy, Elizabeth and to others listed on the 1860 census but names not legible. Maybe your Edward is my Edward's father. Any info you have that might connect these will be apreciated.

I have some confusing loose info. Does anyone know of an Edward R. Crabb who was married to a Phoebe (?)? I have located land records which show them as sellers of land in Clay County, IN. The land was initially purchased from (I believe)my GGG-Grandfather Lewis Crabb. Clay County is just south of Parke Cty, IN. I have read of Edward R. Crabb family history in Parke Cty. I don't know if it is the same Edward R. Crabb. I may be reached at crabbsaline@hotmail.com.

Did you ever receive info on your Edward R. Crabb? I am from the Ralph Crabb line, b. 1693/94; d. 1933/34. M. Pricilla Spriggs, 1716. Interested in the brothers of Edward and their migration from England. Is there they came to the US in the mid 1700's? Pls contact me @ Hawk0944@wildblue.net if you are still on the board. Thanks, Sam Crabb

Hello,

My name is Lee Crabb and I research the Crabb lines, Henry Livingston Crabb b. 1881 Mississippi, to John Crabbe b. abt 1550 Cornwall, England.

I suggest you check out this website; http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~crabbe/

I believe you will find much of the information each of you are looking for about the Edward Ralph Crabb line.

I will always look forward to hearing from you and helping when I can.
