Re: Looking for anyone named CRABB in RI, MA, CT, OH, MI, NY, FL etc.
I wasn't trying to humiliate anyone! I was trying to figure out what on earth the person was trying to say! Do you know what "domatasion" is?? If a person can't spell any better than that, they should ask someone who can to write their messages. The whole purpose of messages is to convey some kind of idea. If your words can't be understood, there's no communication.

Re: Looking for anyone named CRABB in RI, MA, CT, OH, MI, NY, FL etc.
You see bad spelling all day long, just look at that 200 year old image scan, think about it for a while... Oh yes!
To me it says 'Documentation and pictures', but more than that, someone trying to help.

Re: Looking for anyone named CRABB in RI, MA, CT, OH, MI, NY, FL etc.
How about we break this thread - all is forgiven - let's resume the4 search for our ancestors - My wife is a descendant of Vincent Crabb and Sarah Jamison through their son Jarrett Crabb and Rebecca Leazenby. Can anyone help us with connections and possibly going back further than Vincent? We know Jarrett was born in 1802 in Ohio and Rebecca was born in 1801 in Virginia. Thanks - appreciate your help Bill Terrill

Re: Looking for relationship to Gen. James L. KEMPER of Civil War through Lowery CRABB who md. Mary Angelina ROGERS
I have in my possesion a Greek Bible with the names of James L. Kemper and his sons Gaspon and Llatn
The page closes with I think is the name of Samuel Bagster of London.
I have been working on this thing for 20+ years. If you are interestee in this Bible, please contact me. I am against a brick wall. Date on the Bible is Aug (?) 31, 1861.
I have no idea where this Bible came from. Someone just gave it to me because it was a Greek text

Your message was sent to me, but I'm not related to Lowrey Crabb as far as I've been able to document. Glynda52 sounds like she may be a better bet. Good Luck!!

Re: Looking for anyone named CRABB in RI, MA, CT, OH, MI, NY, FL etc.
Hello,
Crabb was my grandmother's maiden name...her father was David Crabb, and he was from VA, although they settled and raised their children in PA, where my great-grandmother was from. Her name was Laura (born Holmes).
thanks for anything you can provide...

Please don't leave me behind if you find any clues on Jarrett's parents. I strongly suspect he is the brother of my Vincent M.

Re: Nellie CRABB md. Dr. Charles W. LOGAN - lived in Trout Lake, Michigan area - dau. Elizabeth Jean LOGAN 1911-1992 md. Merton Roger CARPENTER
ANITA!!!!! How on earth have you been? What's the brick wall with Nellie? Her parents, possibly other children, or what? The tree I've got now has over 2,000 people in the U.S., England, and Australia. My tree should be online here at RootsWeb, but only under my JMax745. There are other similar trees that have incorrect information, and that have included my tree. Reach me at jmax745@yahoo.com

Re: Looking for anyone named CRABB in RI, MA, CT, OH, MI, NY, FL etc.
Sorry if I haven't replied. I've been in the hospital for the better part of 2010. Finally fixed! I'm afraid I don't have any info on a Crabb family in VA or PA. Keep looking. Have you tried John Crabbe's website? It's http://crabbe.infoYou'll notice there's no www. He's compiled a nice list of Crabb researchers and trees. It's a great site!

Re: Looking for anyone named CRABB in RI, MA, CT, OH, MI, NY, FL etc.
Hello Joyce,
Would you have any info on James Alexander Crabb born Kilrenny, Fife 1893, married Mary Mitchell Brown in Kilrenny 1910. Emigrated to Hawaii via Canada. He worked on a Sugar Plantation in Hawaii and I think died in California in 1943. Mary died in 1920 in Hawaii, but I feel sure he would have remarried as I believe they had 4 living children when Mary died. He seems to have travelled a lot between Hawaii, Canada, New York and Australia. Have a suspicion he then married an Australian lady Lillian Bowman. Would love to find any info on any decendants. Many thanks, Lorraine
